The award-winning New York Musical Theatre Festival, now in its seventh year, seeks a Manager of Development to help the organization continue its strategic growth and ensure that it can continue to serve as the world’s leading showcase of new musical theatre projects and talent.
The Manager of Development reports to the Executive Director & Producer, and will be responsible for executing the organization’s fundraising strategies, including: maintaining relationships with contributors and supporters (including individuals, government agencies and institutional supporters); identifying, cultivating and soliciting funding prospects; serving as a liaison to the Board of Directors; maintaining the development database and mailing lists; and supervising interns and outside staff who assist with development activities.
