2006 Membership Survey
Thank you to those of you who took the time to respond to our recent 2006 Membership Survey. Your feedback is very important to us as
we continue to shape YNPN-NYC, and the survey’s results provided us with a snapshot of New York City’s young nonprofit professionals, the issues
you face, and insight into the role YNPN-NYC can play in addressing the topics important to you.
The results of the survey will be published shortly via our listserv and on our website.
Welcome New Advisory Board Members
YNPN-NYC is excited to welcome four new members to our Advisory
Board. Dana Skallman is our new Treasurer, Stephanie Chin is our new Membership Chair, and
Ade Omotade and Krista DeJoseph will serve as our new Professional Development Co-Chairs.
As District Manager at Primerica Financial Services, Dana works with small businesses and families on financial planning. In addition, she also works with
nonprofit organizations to foster financial plans for their organizations and personnel.
Stephanie recently moved to the east coast from San Francisco where she was an active member of
YNPN San Francisco. As Membership Chair, Stephanie will be working to build our volunteer program as well
as build and strengthen the YNPN-NYC membership.
Due to overwhelming interest in our professional development events and the many new professional development program ideas you've all submitted, the
YNPN-NYC Advisory Board recently decided to split the Professional Development Chair position to two positions. Ade is currently with CONNECT as their
Grants and Fundraising Manager and Krista works at Baruch College, School of Public Affairs. As Professional Development Co-Chairs,
Ade and Krista will plan our upcoming professional development events such as the Personal Finances Seminar which is scheduled for February 2007.
