The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of New York City (YNPN-NYC) is seeking applications to fill several open board positions (please see below). All board members are members of a team that provides networking and professional development opportunities to New York City’s “nonprofiteers”. Board members also have the unique ability to connect with nonprofit professionals in NYC and across the United States through events, conferences, and information sharing. YNPN-NYC board membership is both a learning opportunity open to individuals starting out in the nonprofit world as well as a new experience for people who have a history in the field.
All board members are expected to serve a 2-year term as an active member. This includes attending a minimum number of board meetings and YNPN-NYC events. Time commitments vary by board position however all members are expected to contribute to our strong and active board to help accomplish YNPN-NYC’s mission.

Technology Vice Chair
The Technology Committee addresses the information technology needs of YNPN-NYC, supporting all facets of the organization by maintaining and updating the website and ensuring the board is able to easily update site information. We are looking for a strong technology team member with knowledge of code to assist in managing our back-end site and troubleshoot as necessary. Website experience, knowledge of WordPress & HTML a huge plus!
